The Diminution of God – the real God
Copyright 2023, InterAmerica, Inc.
Those early, unthinking humans, by adopting and promoting the Yawist scenarios of their adopted and mythologized god – Yahweh or Allah – diminished that possible entity who would be the omniscient, omnipresent, ubiquitous creator of life, the universe, and all od reality. That entity would be God, not god.
The ignorance of rabble tribesmen who were taken in by the machinations of the being dealt with here – Yahweh – has diverted humankind, in Western civilization and its evangelizing, from an understanding of the force which destined and maintains humankind’s existence.
What omniscient “force” or entity would diminish its all-inclusive being to incarnate among lowly humans and enact what is, blatantly, stupid behavior?
How would this pathetic planet be chosen as the site of truly divine incarnation, among an especially mentally inert group of humans living in a desolate area with little or no awareness of transcendental understanding, I’m referring to the Israelites and subsequently to Muslims who adopted and creatively revamped the Hebrew notions of deity?
That is, how could mankind, then and later, be so far afield of what divinity or Godness is?
The Gnostics grasped the ignorance of the deluded masses but were shut out of consideration by The Church (my Church), and philosophers plus theologians from Augustine to Schillebeeckx bypassed their genius and accepted the Hebrew god, Yahweh, as the omnipotent being that created the universe and all that exists. Why?

It baffles me that the being Yahweh – human by all accounts, Biblical, philosophical, theological, atheistical, even historical and literary – has usurped the idea of a transcendent entity who should, rightfully and intelligently, be referred to as God.
I won’t indulge in the theological arguments about or against the God because it has little to do – despite some rumblings by readers here that Yahweh’s belligerent behavior takes us back to the God, because He is the originator of all things – but I will point out the psychotic human-like behavior of Yahweh as it manifests itself in the Hebrew Bible and other religious-oriented texts of the Yahwistic period …
